Where to Eat Dinner on Thanksgiving in Washington, DC
One of my tried and true Thanksgiving traditions is making sure I don’t have to cook the turkey. It’s a lot of work! Especially when some of the best parts of the meal are the sides and the pie. If Thanksgiving dinner is a daunting task for you too, consider leaving it up DC’s best chefs instead. Get your orders and reservations set up early so you don’t miss out!
Most of DC is open if you are visiting from out of town or looking for things to do that week. This includes all of the Smithsonian museums and some Christmas activities. Some bars and restaurants will close early on Wednesday, so check websites and Instagram accounts before you head out for the evening.
And while you’re here, if you are in a position to give this holiday season, please consider donating to food banks and gift drives around the city.
