To me, whiskey, more than any other liquor is an art form. And exclusive options from a distiller can be a very special experience. If this sounds like you too, don’t miss Barreled & Boxed, the new membership program from James B. Beam Distilling Co.
You likely know James B. Beam for its iconic family of brands including Jim Beam and Maker’s Mark bourbon plus premium brands like Knob Creek. On August 25 at 10:00 am, sign up to be one of the first to access some of the distillery’s best bottles through Barreled and Boxed. The program features 2 select whiskeys every three months plus exclusive member perks. Each whiskey selected will be one of the distiller’s premium bottles or limited-time-only releases.
This launch opens to only 500 members in eligible zip codes within Kentucky and Washington, DC. But look out for expansion of the program in 2022!

What’s Included
Every three months, members receive two unique whiskeys from the James B. Beam Distilling Co.’s portfolio of specialty liquids and new-to-market innovations. The first box, which members receive in September, includes Little Book Chapter 5 “The Invitation.” This is the recently launched fifth chapter in Freddie Noe’s acclaimed Little Book Whiskey series. The box also includes some of the very last bottles of Little Book Chapter 1 “The Easy” – originally launched in 2017.
Members also earn a behind-the-barrel look at the featured whiskeys. This includes access to a live virtual tasting event with Freddie Noe and a complimentary VIP tour of the new James B. Beam Distilling Co. campus experience (reopening later this year), and invitations to member-only events.
Due to the exclusive nature of this program, participants won’t be able to skip a box but can cancel if needed. Prices per box vary depending on the whiskey selection. The fall box is $270 and the winter box is expected to be $210.
