How To Keep Brunch This Spring
Many of use are taking advantage of take out and delivery options from all our favorite restaurants for lunch, dinner, and happy hour. However, as spring approaches, I am starting to miss all the patio brunches that will now have to wait. But it turns out, many of our favorite place have not forgotten about brunch in DC while social distancing. Check out some of our favorite breakfast spots offering everything you need for brunch at home.
District Doughnuts
District Doughnuts is delivering doughnuts to get you through your workday or your weekend. Find flavors like chocolate pretzel, cherry blossom, funfetti, vanilla bean glaze, Nutella, and more. For the best selection, put in an order the day before for pick up or delivery around the DMV and parts of Northern Virginia. You can also find a limited menu on Postmates and UberEats.

Shaw's Tavern
Barrel
Barrel in Eastern Market offers excellent drink specials plus food every day but on weekends you can find their popular brunch options for pick up or DoorDash delivery. Order from their limited but fabulous menu of a fried chicken sandwich on a brioche bun or biscuit, ham and cheese omelet, or cauliflower. With a food order, you can all add everything you need more mimosas and other brunch cocktails.<
The Capital Burger
The Capital Burger in the Reston Town Center has a big breakfast menu with egg sandwiches and full entrees. Find sandwiches with bacon, sausage, or avocado. Or look for entrees like granola bowls, chicken and waffles, a traditional American breakfast, and more. The Penn Quarter location is also offering take-out but they do not have a breakfast menu.

Call Your Mother
Call Your Mother Deli has everything you need for the perfect bagel breakfast. Get bagels in packs of 3, 6, or 13 plus spreads like cream cheese, peanut butter, and herb cream cheese. Plus, order full bagel sandwiches with toppings like egg and bacon, smoked salmon, pastrami, and more.
