Experience the Cherry Blossoms at Artechouse in DC with Isekai

This spring, Artechouse is celebrating Cherry Blossom season in Washington, DC with Isekai. Isekai is an immersive digital art experience showcasing the beautiful pink blooms with elements of Japanese pop culture. This is the 7th annual cherry blossom-themed exhibit from Artechouse.
All exhibits at Artechouse are perfect for art enthusiasts who are looking for something a little different than the museums on the National Mall. Art exhibits combine digital art, interactive experiences, and sounds to not only bring an idea to life but truly invite guests into the middle of the action.
Artechouse features a main room with moving images across three walls and the floor with sound. This creates an immersive world to walk around, take photos, or just sit and enjoy. My favorite way to experience any exhibit at Artechouse in DC is to sit and let the images wash over me. This feels therapeutic and transports me worlds away from the city.
After enjoying the main room, guests can explore the side rooms with smaller, interactive art displays. Many of the side room exhibits respond to touch and movement, so the experience will vary slightly from person to person.
Artechouse also offers a bar with themed cocktails to tie the experience together. For this exhibit, try Isekai with Japanese gin and the Hero’s Journey, a prosecco-based cocktail. My favorite was the Isekai which was not too sweet. Drinks can be enjoyed in the main room but are not allowed in the side rooms.
