Oyamel is a tapas style restaurant by Jose Andres located in Penn Quarter. 

Chef Omar Rodriguez designed the menu to celebrate the rich regional diversity and the vibrant urban atmosphere of Mexico City.

Ordering tapas at Oyamel can get expensive because you want to try everything. Instead, try the tasting menu for $65/person and get a little bit of everything. 

Don't Forget Drinks 

Drinks are extra but you don't want to miss Oyamel's classic or signature margarita. Save a little by visiting during Hora Feliz from 4 to 6 pm on Tuesday-Friday.

Variety of Dishes 

The menu starts with lighter plates like ceviche and builds to hearty plates like shrimp, quesadillas, and cauliflower. You won't leave hungry.  

Perfect Sizing

Small plates are shared among the table but Oyamel will size the portions based on how many people are in your party.

The tasting menu also includes dessert so don't forget to save room for something sweet at the end.
