5 Beautiful Parks in Washington, DC

National Arboretum 

While visiting the National Arboretum, don't miss the Asian Gardens. The spot is beautiful in any season plus enjoy views of the Anacostia River. 

Malcolm X Park 

Listed as Meridian Hill on the map, the locals know it is Malcolm X Park. This park is a gathering place, features multiple statues, and hosts a drum circle every Sunday. 

Rock Creek Park 

Rock Creek is beautiful in every season. Enjoy picnic areas, multiple hiking trails, and water views. 

Constitution Gardens 

This often overlooked park on the National Mall is near the Washington Monument. Find a  lake, walking paths, and all of the signatures from the Declaration of Independence. 

Theodore Roosevelt Island 

This island features monuments, water views, and hiking paths. It is accessible by bridge with limited parking so visit on a colder day or by bike.
