Turkish Inspired Tapas

Ala in Dupont Circle rebranded in 2021 and now serves bottomless drinks and tapas inspired by The Levant which includes Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Cyprus, Jordan, Isreal, and Palestine.

The name ala comes from a Turkish expression meaning “a mix of all the colors.”

This represents the journey we are all on to discover the tastes of different areas while inviting all backgrounds to join the table.

Drink Variety

Order bottomless tapas for $29 or add drinks for $39. Drinks aren't limited to mimosas - enjoy the mix your own mimosa bar or any simple cocktail (1 mixer + liquor). Coffee and tea are also included.

Dishes Large & Small

Dishes range from bite size to more hearty full plates. Build a meal from lighter bites to larger plates to dessert.

Vegetarian Options

The menu includes plenty of non-meat options so it's perfect for a crowd with different preferences. The manakish, a crowd favorite, consisted of feta cheese, truffle oil, and garlic.

Don't forget to end with something sweet like chocolate mousse or the crispy caraway toast with spicy chocolate sauce.
