An Afternoon Outside

East Potomac Park is a great place to spend the day outside. It is easily walkable from the Wharf or the Tidal Basin. Or find plenty of parking on the island.

Water Views

Bike or walk around the island with views of the Potomac River and plenty of picnic tables. It is especially beautiful during cherry blossom season and fall foliage.

Stop for Snacks

If you don't bring a picnic, head over to The Wharf for a huge variety of restaurant options. For a quick bite, enjoy soup from the Fish Market or bakery items from Colada Shop.
